“The Deadliest Lie”
“THC is dangerous.”
With that simple, traitorous notion, eighty-five years of warped social evolution imposed itself upon humankind in a so-called “drug war.” Earth-healing “Gaiatherapeutic” industry was obviated. Institutional fraud contaminated the integrity of the Natural Order through “Gaiacidal” Earth-killing disrespect for Nature.
Skewed values & unaccountable morality bent people into global conflict. Environmental atrocities became commonplace. Some people’s bottom-line was elevated above everyone’s quality of life.
Concern for future generations was thrown onto the same heap as “environmental externalities” — which for decades had ceased to really matter…until now.
In the eight-and-a-half decades following passage of the “Marihuana Tax Act of 1937” in United States, the deadliest lie ever told has been responsible for more death, suffering, illness & poverty than all wars combined.
While the “drug war” continues to rage on against “marihuana” [sic] with deadly force, most of the death & destruction attributable to Cannabis prohibition is the result of THC limits imposed on non-psychoactive, low-THC food, fuel & fiber crops collectively referred to as “industrial hemp.”
The world’s most useful, nutritious and strategically significant agricultural resource was banned from American farms under the influence of racist, Nazi-sympathizers in American government and industry, two years before Hitler invaded Poland.
America’s first “drug czar” was Harry Anslinger. There is ample historical evidence to suggest that Anslinger was a Nazi operative.
With the help of his fellow-racists, including newspaper publisher William Randolph Hearst and wealthy industrialist Andrew Mellon (Anslinger’s father-in-law), they whipped up national fears & antipathy toward Cannabis, wielding bald-faced racism & fraud.
”Mellon’s wealth was tied up in…the Aluminum Corp. of America. ALCOA’s trade with the Nazis, through a cartel with I.G. Farben, sabotaged U.S. military access to aluminum. In 1943, anti-fascist journalist, George Seldes, said ALCOA was “largely responsible for the fact America did not have the aluminum with which to build airplanes before and after Pearl Harbor, while Germany had an unlimited supply” (Facts and Fascism, 1943). In 1941, Secretary of the Interior Harold Ickes had warned: “If America loses the war it can thank the Aluminum Corporation of America.” (13)
In 1942, President Roosevelt’s Executive Order 9280 brought Cannabis “hemp” back into the service of national defense, as a “strategic resource.” The U.S. War Department initiated the “Hemp for Victory!” campaign without concern for dangers, real or imagined, about THC.
After the war ended, competitive market influence & political advantage favoring fossil fuels & logging removed industrial hemp from farms, fields, laboratories in many countries, obviating a truly “free market.” Despite the fact that better quality paper can be made from hemp, at a fraction of the cost; most of the world’s boreal forests (that provide invaluable environmental services), have been cut to make inferior quality paper products; that require seven times more toxic chemicals to make.
Over the past eighty-five years, several generations throughout the world have suffered sub-optimal health from inadequate nutrition and degenerating living conditions. Ravaged by ignorance, unnecessary illness and pain, life has been cut-short for untold numbers of people, suffering under global, essential resource scarcity, imposed before we were born. Many people suffer so that a few can live in obscene opulence.
As toxic industrial practices became acceptable, and “Gaiacidal” industries filled the niche that would otherwise have been occupied by Earth-healing, “Gaiatherapeutic” Cannabis, direct and indirect consequences of a so-called “drug war” against the world’s most nutritious and healing herb, continue to impact the health & well-being of every creature on Earth.
First came “Reefer Madness,” the notoriously absurd film that poisoned public sentiment against Nature’s finest ally in both farm and field.
Racist lies whipped-up fear & hatred. Law enforcement was used as a weapon by toxic industrial competitors to justify the war on “marijuana.”
With Nixon, it became the “War on Drugs” used to fragment, infiltrate, and undermine entire subcultures, using spies, hard drugs & misinformation to corrupt institutions, create black market economies, violate civil liberties, generate obscene revenue, industrializing punishment throughout the global economic system.
By imposing enforcement of ridiculously low THC limits on industrial hemp, “The Deadliest Lie” continues to criminalize organic agriculture, wielding bureaucratic interference and expensive approval to deadly effect.
The unfree market we were born into was essentially institutional slavery. Until now we were kept ignorant of the best alternative to fossil fuels. We had no choice but to buy Gaiacidal products. In spite of the political rhetoric, truly fair market competition has never existed in our lifetimes.
In the so-called “free world” wealth disparity, corporate government corruption, environmental imbalances, market instability, soil infertility, farmer suicides…can all be traced back to the door of “Drug War HQ.”
Cultural amnesia had all but eliminated knowledge of hemp seed nutrition until Jack Herer’s book, entitled “The Emperor Wears No Clothes” reintroduced Cannabis nutrition and hemp history back into global awareness. As science explores the integrated complexities of Cannabis as a functional element essential to the proper function of our Endogenous Cannabinoid System, parallel value is being realized in determining the integrity of Earth’s Natural Order.
Now that the true, unique and essential values of hemp have become common knowledge throughout the world, there is no excuse for willful ignorance being afforded to obsolete notions. THC limits on industrial hemp must be eliminated before this Spring planting season. Fertile seed must be distributed to every farmer & home gardener on Earth. The military in every country must be repurposed, from armies to farmers. That is the only way mankind will have any chance of survival.
The military will have to choose, soldier by soldier, to side with either survival for this planet & their families or to blindly follow warmongers to global extinction.. Perhaps instinct will inspire soldiers to think like mothers & fathers before they doom us all to endless suffering.
“Essential military and civilian demand” for hemp is provided for in Obama’s Executive Order 13603. It’s time to coordinate military & civilian defense in every nation. Soldier’s families are civilians. The interests of both are served by ending wars-for-oil and other bad habits associated with and attributable to the lingering vestiges of Cannabis prohibition.
Increasing UV-B radiation is the result of boreal deforestation and catastrophic plankton losses. Hemp is the only crop that can replenish Earth’s atmosphere with the aerosol terpenes needed to block increasing “Global Broiling” by solar UVB radiation.
Instantaneous electronic communication combined with a crystal clear perception of values, affords our species the immediate ability to slam the brakes on wars that will inevitably lead to global extinction. As soon as human values are aligned with peoples desire for peace, and a clear path to survival; then the warmongers’ accounts can be electronically frozen. The future does not exist for the obsolete value system funding war.
Now that a better, functional alternative is available and known throughout the world, the pivotal, polar shift in values can redirect our social evolution in the time it takes for everyone in the world to read this sentence.
Obsolete values threaten the future of this planet. As extinction looms in our sickly, violent century, it is time to “think outside the bong about Cannabis”before we run out of the time that’s needed to make a difference.
